Berlin, Bar Neiro, a few days ago: An exclusive listening party with around thirty people from the art scene, the music industry, the audio elite, and the media.
Erik Breuer from the affiliated Brewery Studios and Analogue Foundation handled the lacquer cutting, and the music was played directly from the lacquer discs on the bar’s specially built hi-fi system.
Everyone was fully focused on the music, with the bar serving free beer, wine, and sake (arigato!). There was a great discussion afterwards and some lovely mingling with people who want to see us and the album succeed!
The records will now move on to galvanization and pressing, and will become the first release in turntable giant Audio-Technica’s new Vinyl Masters series.
“Sørbø/Fonn: Heroin Chic” will be available on vinyl in approximately eight weeks.
